The Tournament

Doubles by Level at the BHS Tennis Courts

Partnerships will be grouped in round robin flights of similar combined ratings (3.0+3.0=6.0). Two women, two men or mixed will be combined together in 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 flight groups. Ratings must be within 1.0 of each other.

Players are guaranteed a minimum of three single set matches with no-ad scoring and tiebreak at six games all.   Tournament runs from 8 am-4 pm; individual flights will be played within a block of several hours—starting times will be emailed to you the Wednesday before the Tournament (Aug 16th).  Due to restrictions on scheduling, you do have to be available to play during all the hours of the event... although your event will only take 1.5-3 hours max. If you have scheduling conflicts we can TRY to accommodate them... but those need to be stated at time of sign-up.  Must be 14 years or older to play unless granted an age waiver by BCTA.  Rain cancels the tournament.  The deadline for entry is Tuesday August 15th.  Unsure of your level?  Contact Tournament Director Paul Sullivan he’ll help you.    Don't have a partner?  Best is to ask someone you like to play with!
